Biography

Orion Turner is a Kansas native born April 7, 2004. He began learning music at the young age of 5. Through the piano, Orion has explored nearly every instrument. In Orion's kindergarten year, he told his mother he was going to be a professional tap dancer. Ever since, Orion has been in tap classes and other various dance classes. Following that, Orion was an extreme Classic Rock lover. He performed as Twisted Sister and listened to the Beatles anthology on repeat. This gave him a very atypical musical training. That said, Orion loves theory and has taken piano lessons from a very young age. In high school, Orion began musical theatre and choral studies. He also furthered his theory knowledge and completed every academic music course the school offered. His peer came to him and asked if he would assist them by composing his first musical: "Inseparable." Since then, Orion has gotten involved with several musicals and has even written plays. But, Orion's love for the stage is larger than anything else. Orion currently plays in the band "The Scarlet Sound," which had their debut performance at the Halfway to Everywhere Festival 2021.
